Mubariz Ahmadoghlu: â€œIf Iran wants to punish US, it must solve the Karabakh problem instead of causing dissension between the Muslim countries, Iran is able to do thatâ€

While facing sanctions by most of the countries due to its nuclear activity, Iran relies on Armenia and Armenian lobby, the conference noted.

Ahmadoghlu said the main factor causing war against Iran was Israel. â€œUsing the tensions with Arab countries, Israel intends to win their support by launching air strike on Iran. Instead of addressing the Muslim countries, Iran relies on Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The factor of Russia and China and their intention not to damage relations with superpowers force Iran to search for new address. Iranian foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi discussed with the Armenian officials the issues of visa facilitation and development of economic relations between the countries. Salehi didnâ€™t mention the Karabakh problem during his meetings in Armenia. But some Iranian officials meddle in internal affairs of Azerbaijan and criticize our country. I can say sincerely that Azerbaijani society is against the war against Iran. Therefore if Iran wants to punish US, it must solve the Karabakh problem instead of causing dissension between the Muslim countries, Iran is able to do thatâ€.
