The diplomat met with the head of Gandja’s executive power Elmar Veliyev and discussed bilateral relations between China and Azerbaijan, as well as the projects carried out by China in Azerbaijan. It was noted that Chinese experts made significant contribution to the re-opening of one of the largest industrial enterprises of the city – Gandja Aluminium Plant.
After the meeting, the ambassador told journalists that broad economic relations were established between his country and Azerbaijan. “The government of China is very satisfied with these relations. The 4th International China-Azerbaijan Trade Exhibition will be opened soonâ€.
Ambassador Zhang Yannian will meet with the Chinese businessmen operated in the western regions of Azerbaijan.
