Baku-APA. Azerbaijani President noted that the recent "Eastern Partnership" summit became another important step for the development of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan and it demonstrated once again that these ties have a bright future, APA reports.

Ilham Aliyev noted that cooperation in various fields have good opportunities. "I am very pleased that this business forum will present economic opportunities of both sides, the two countries to each other. There is a great need for this.
I am sure that if our economic ties grow, it will have a very positive impact on relations in all areas. Looking at the statistics today, we sometimes regret that why the economic ties between Hungary and Azerbaijan, trade turnover, are not at the desired level?! It may have different reasons. I think that the biggest reason is that the business circles know each other not well. It means, there is insufficient information on the economic potential of both countries. This lack of information willy-nilly prevent cooperation in the economic sphere. So I think that the main purpose of todayâ€™s business forum should be to provide economic opportunities for both countries, and once this forum is being held in Azerbaijan, economic opportunities of Azerbaijan should be presented first of all. Information on projects realized in Azerbaijan, infrastructure and industrial projects should be provided. Existing legislation in Azerbaijan legislation, situation for taxes should be presented, "he said.
