Ceremonial presentation of English edition of â€œBakuâ€ magazine held in Moscow

Moscow.Farid Akbarov â€“ APA. Ceremonial presentation of English edition of â€œBakuâ€ magazine was held in Moscow. Head of the Administration of Russian President Sergey Narishkin, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu, Consul General to St. Petersburg Kudsi Osmanov, General Consul to Yekaterinburg Soltan Gasimov, Azerbaijani businessmen Araz and Emin Aghalarov, Samad Gurbanov and other well-known persons of Azerbaijani culture attended ceremony, Moscow bureau of APA reports. The ceremony was held at â€œART Museum Multimediaâ€ exhibition salon.

Editor in chief of â€œBakuâ€ magazine, vice president of Haydar Aliyev Foundation, head of the Russian and Azerbaijani Youth Organization, Initiator of International Dialoguae for Environmental Action â€“ IDEA Leyla Aliyeva expressed her gratitude to attendees of ceremony. Leyla Aliyeva told Russian edition of the journal is being published for 4 years. According to her, from that time she had idea for the international version of the magazine: â€œThe first English version of the magazine was published in London. It was not so easy to publish this edition. It took 4 years. We believe this edition will be successful like Russian versionâ€.

She also noted that it is possible to get English edition of the magazine in many cities of the world. There are New-York, Berlin, Roma and Paris among these cities: â€œPurpose of the magazine is not only to introduce to reader old culture of Land of Fires on the coast of Caspian Sea, rich history, nice and wise traditions but also to tell readers about modern life of Azerbaijanisâ€. â€œBakuâ€ Magazine will help to the world to discover Azerbaijan and its capital once again and secret and good aspects of its peopleâ€.

Speaking at the ceremony Albert Reed, head of the print house in London "Conde Nast" published the English edition of the magazine "Baku" said he was proud of the participation in this presentation.

Ceremony ended with a performance of the musical group "Natig rhythm."
