Azerbaijani state and governmental officials were introduced to President Schmitt and the members of the Hungarian delegation were introduced to President Aliyev.
After the official welcoming ceremony, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Hungarian president Pal Schmitt had one-on-one meeting.
The presidents expressed satisfaction with the development of relations in various spheres, underlined the good potential for further extension of relations.
It was noted that the visit of Hungarian President to Azerbaijan was significant from the point of view of further strengthening of cooperation between the countries.
The leaders exchanged view on bilateral, regional and international issues.
