â€œWe are in good mood. I see the people congratulate each other and have a good time. I am happy to celebrate this festival together with the residents of Goychay. I see warm attitude from the people here. This festival shows how rapidly and resolutely Azerbaijan develops its economy. This development is observed not only in oil and gas sector, but in agriculture as wellâ€.

Ambassador Bryza said Azerbaijanâ€™s agriculture is very promising field: â€œI believe US investors will invest much more in this sphere. In July, I visited Goychay, saw the pomegranate gardens and farms, visited pomegranate juice factory AzNar, met wholesale customers and appreciated the work done for the development of this sphere in the region. Aznar is the largest pomegranate processing factory in the region and exports its products to 10 countries at least, it receives technical support from the United States Agency for International Development. This is good partner to the US, which undertook commitment to assist Azerbaijan in diversification of its economyâ€.
