Baku. Konul Jafarli – APA. The officers of the Intelligence Ministry of Iran (ETTELAAT) have detained several activists of the South Azerbaijan Students’ Movement in Tabriz. APA reports that the security officers burst into the houses of Behruz Faridi, Arash Mahammadi and Siyavush Mahammadi and beat them.
The houses were searched, their books, computers were confiscated. The national activists are held at Tabriz department of ETTELAAT.
Most of the political prisoners imprisoned in the South Azerbaijan are either students, or the activists, who started their political activity while studying.
