President of Chile: Azerbaijan is one of the most important and dynamically-developing countries of the Caspian region

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s Ambassador to Argentine Mammad Ahmadzadeh presented his credentials to President of Chile Miguel Juan SebastiÃ¡n PiÃ±era Echenique with the view of being accredited in the Republic of Chile at the same time, Foreign Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Ambassador gave information about the way of Azerbaijanâ€™s independence, present realities, achievements, regional processes, Armeniaâ€™s aggression against Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policy priorities, its attention to Latin America, importance attached by Azerbaijan to the cooperation with Chile.

Highly appreciating Azerbaijanâ€™s achievements, President of Chile said Azerbaijan is one of the most important and dynamically-developing countries of the Caspian region, noted that Chile is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan and both countries have potential to improve the relations.

Ahmadzadeh also held meetings at the Foreign Ministry of Chile, Energy Ministry, Justice Ministry, parliament, Diplomatic Academy, ProChile, foreign trade and investment promotion agency and SOFOFA. Prospects of cooperation between the two countries, exchange of visits, measures to be taken for improvement of contractual basis, enhancement of economic, commercial relations, other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meetings.
