Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs included the name of Californian Senator Joseph Simitian in the list of personas non grata, spokesman for the Ministry Elman Abdullayev told APA. The American senator was banned from entering the territory of Azerbaijan. It was caused by the Senator’s uncoordinated visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
Joseph Simitian visited Azerbaijan together with a group of Californian senators. Then he visited the occupied Nagrono Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. Other senators, who were on the visit to Azerbaijan, didn’t visit Nagorno Karabakh.
