Igor Popov: â€œOur next visit to the region will be realized in Octoberâ€ â€“ <font color=red>EXCLUSIVE </font>

The diplomat said that the co-chairs planned to visit the region till the end of this month. He said that the concrete date of the visit wasnâ€™t known and the work was conducted in this direction.

Popov said that during the visit they would meet with Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents and foreign ministers, hold discussions on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Co-chairs met with the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents within the Eastern Partnership Summit in Warsaw. In their joint statement on the meeting, the co-chairs said that they presented the action plan for the next few months until the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius in December, 2011.

The statement says that the co-chairs will continue the work on elimination of current disagreement between the sides around Basic Principles forming the basis of comprehensive peace treaty. The mediators will make proposals to all sides on additional measures for strengthening the ceasefire regime, improvement of atmosphere of confidence and contribution to the mutual understanding between regionâ€™s peoples.

The statement also reads that the co-chairs plan to visit the region in the near future for the purpose of implementing the considered plan.
