The government should create conditions for that as possible”, said Ali Bilge Cankorel, Head of the OSCE Office in Baku, APA reports.

Cankorel said they have not observed the cases of use of force and violence during the actions held so far. “There has not been violence by the participants of the actions or by police. But we would like that there will be no arrests as well”.

He said it needed to avoid use of force during the actions. “All possible opportunities should be used for securing the freedom of expression. Therefore the sides should reach common decision. Such issues should be solved not on the basis of confrontation, but on the basis of dialogue, finding common position taken ideas of all sides into consideration. We always invite the government and opposition of Azerbaijan to dialogue. It is important to find a way acceptable for everyone”.
