Elmar Mammadyarov receives Bavarian State Minister Emilia Muller

Baku - APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Emilia Muller, Minister for Federal and European Affairs at the State of Bavaria, Germany, press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA. Expressing satisfaction with her visit, Muller said that federal land was interested in the development of relations with our country and noted the existence of big opportunities in this direction. Muller said that several Bavarian companies realized successful projects in Azerbaijan and the federal land was interested in further cooperation in economic, education, construction, technology and other spheres. Then Bavarian guest took interest in ongoing processes in the region.

Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan also attached great significance to these ties and noted the importance of implementation of concrete projects for further deepening of those relations. Touching upon the security issues in the South Caucasus, especially Armenia â€“ Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh, minister Mammadyarov said that the continuation of â€œstatus quoâ€ established as a result of occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia is inadmissible and stressed the possibility of solution to the conflict only within the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, basing on the norms and principles of international law. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
