Outgoing Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan gives reception

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Outgoing Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk gave a reception. APA reports that Azerbaijani officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business participated in the reception.

The ambassador said he had worked in Azerbaijan for two years and done his best to deepen the relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Boris Klimchuk expressed his confidence that the Ukrainian diplomatic mission would continue working well and produce good results. Doyen of the diplomatic corps, Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nicolae Ureche congratulated the outgoing ambassador on his appointment as governor of Volyn province. The ambassador presented Boris Klimchuk an Azerbaijani carpet on behalf of the diplomatic corps and said it would always remind him of Azerbaijan.

Bishop of Baku and Caspian region Father Alexander thanked the ambassador on his behalf and on behalf of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for what he had done for the Orthodox community in Azerbaijan and presented him Apostle Bartholomew medal.
