They collected signatures to express their solidarity with the Iranian president and supreme leader.
Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Bahrami said they organized the action to condemn events happened on December 27 in Tehran. The ambassador said Iran had a great history and no outside force could topple it. “If Israeli army, which is one of the strongest armies of the world, was defeated by Lebanon within 33 days and couldn’t overcome unarmed people of Gaza, what it can do with the Iranian army? Iranian people are always united around their president and it will always be soâ€.
Representative of the Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamnei to Azerbaijan Seyid Ali Akbar Ojagnejat also participated at the event.
