Azerbaijani Interior Minister receives Georgian Interior Minister

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov received Georgian Interior Minister Ivane Merabishvili, Interior Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Ramil Usubov underlined that the cooperation between the interior bodies were developing, mutual relations in combating transnational crimes, exchange of experience served the interests of our friendly nations. It was noted that the documents signed between the ministries recently, particularly the agreement signed by Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey in April, 2002, on cooperation in combating terrorism, organized crimes and other grave crimes, gave an impetus to the development of bilateral relations and relations on the level of the international organizations.

Following this, Ramil Usubov gave information about the work done and reforms carried out to ensure the socio-political stability.

Georgian Interior Minister Ivane Merabishvili thanked for the efforts made to strengthen cooperation and expressed his confidence that the relations would further develop.
