Representatives of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities hold meetings in Azerbaijan

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. Representatives of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, who arrived in Baku on Sunday, began their meetings today. According to APA, the European delegation joined the round table with the participation of non-governmental organizations. They are also planning to meet with Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov on Monday. The delegation will hold meetings at the Presidential Administration and Justice Ministry tomorrow and will meet with the representatives of opposition and visit some municipalities as well. The visit has a character of familiarization. The delegation will visit Azerbaijan on December 21-24 again to observe the municipal elections. Turkish representative Gaya Doganogly leads the delegation.
