Baku – APA. Meeting with the teachers and pupils of Hope International School held in Azerbaijan’s embassy in Indonesia, Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA. Azerbaijani ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev gave information about Azerbaijan’s geographical position, population, history, culture, tourism potential, achievements toward the integration into the world community, social, economic and political achievements gained under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’ role in the international projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, the country’s influence in the region and the world and Azerbaijan-Indonesia relations. Following this, film describing Azerbaijan’s culture, music and art was demonstrated, the guests’ questions were answered. Collection of booklets prepared by Heydar Aliyev Foundation “Karabakh truthsâ€, book “War against Azerbaijan – targeting cultural heritageâ€, books about Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, Azerbaijan’s history, culture and tourism published by the embassy in the English and Bahasa Indonesia languages were presented to the library of the school. About 50 teachers and pupils of the school familiarized with the books, brochures and magazines about Azerbaijan at the library of the embassy. Correspondents of The Jakarta Post also attended the event.
