European Movement International intends to closely cooperate with Azerbaijan

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva - APA. Secretary General of European Movement International Diogo Pinto ends his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports. Diogo Pinto held a press conference in connection with this. He said European Movement International intends to closely cooperate with Azerbaijan. Diogo Pinto said he paid his first visit as Secretary General to Azerbaijan.
Diogo Ppinto said Azerbaijani government, parliament, representatives of nongovernmental organizations and civil society made positive impression on him.
Secretary General of European Movement International told journalists their goal is to increase the role of civil society in the countryâ€™s integration into Europe. The organization plans to organize meetings and conferences serving the European integration.
Diogo Pinto noted that the arrest of Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh was also discussed during his visit to Azerbaijan.
