Regions of Azerbaijan and Czech Republic to cooperate - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijani ambassador to Czech Republic Tahir Tagizadeh visited to Olomouc. This is the first visit of Tahir Tagizadeh to the regions of the Czech Republic, APA reports. The ambassador visited Olomouc at the invitation of head of Azerbaijani community Alakbar Ilyasov and governor of Olomouc. The sides discussed establishment of the relations in tourism, education and economy. Member of the European Parliament Jan Brezina also attended the discussions.

Jan Brezina was elected to the Czech parliament from Olomouc.

Governor Martin Tesarik noted the importance of organizing the meeting of entrepreneurs from both countries to study the opportunities of cooperation in tourism.

The visit of Tesarik to Azerbaijan, establishment of relations of sister cities between Olomouc and Gandja were discussed. Agreement was reached on Tesarikâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan in spring, 2010.

Tahir Tagizadeh and Martin Tesarik also discussed establishment of the relations between official bodies, as well as entrepreneurs of Olomouc and one of Azerbaijani regions.

The sides also discussed cooperation in the field of higher education between Azerbaijani and Czech regions.
