Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss the regional security and Nagorny Karabakh conflict at the bilateral meetings with Azerbaijan and Armenian foreign ministers, State Department Spokesman Robert Wood said at a briefing on Monday, APA reports. “I don’t want to characterize where we are with regard to when that agreement might possibly come about. It is one subject that the Secretary will be discussing with both the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers. She’s going to meet with Foreign Minister Nalbandian to talk about bilateral issues, as I said, the relationship between Armenia and Turkey, and also, of course, Nagorno-Karabakh. With Azerbaijan the same, about security issues, Nagorno-Karabakh, and talk about the subject of energy in the region. But I don’t have anything beyond that. We’ll probably be able to give you a little more tomorrow”. Robert Wood didn’t rule out possibility of tripartite meeting between Hillary Clinton, Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian.

Armenia’s Tert.am quoted Robert Wood as saying that Clinton postponed her meetings scheduled on Monday and eased her working schedule because of light allergic problems. Clinton is expected to hold meetings on Tuesday. Robert Wood said the Secretary of State felt well and would come to office on Tuesday.
