Outgoing Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan arranges banquet

Baku â€“ APA. Outgoing ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamidi Zare has arranged a banquet today, APA reports. Representatives of diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan, chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh and media representatives participated in the banquet. Nasir Hamidi Zare said he was satisfied with his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan. The ambassador said there were historical and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Iran. Speaking about the history of Iran Nasir Hamidi Zare said Iran was an independent, democratic state respecting human rights.
The ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Iran and hoped the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran would further extend.
Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureku addressed the event on behalf of the representatives of diplomatic corps. Speaking about the diplomatic activity of Nasir Hamidi Zare the ambassador presented a gift to him on behalf of the representatives of diplomatic corps.
