Azerbaijan Writers Union sends list of writers presented to the “Presidential stipend†to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Azerbaijan Writers Union sent the list of writers presented to the “Presidential stipend†to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Union’s spokesman Alovsat Asgaroglu told APA. He said 50 senior and 20 young writers were included in the list. Their documents will be examined at the ministry and then will be sent to the President’s Office. Asgaroglu said the presidential stipend ahs been granted to the writers since last year by the presidential order issued on March 12, 2007. 70 writers received the presidential stipend. The senior writers are receiving monthly 300 AZN and young writers 200 AZN over the year.
