Yerevan – APA. Russia does not intend to refuse military participation in Armenia, Russian co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov said in Yerevan, APA reports.
The co-chair said he had no information about Russia’s withdrawing its troops from Armenia.
Russia’s 102nd military base is located in Gyumru city of Armenia. The military base is on duty in Armenia within the framework of the CIS unique anti-missile defense system. The 5000-personnel base is supplied with C-300 zenith anti-missile complexes and MIG-29 fighters.
