Caspian energy resources presentation at Columbia University, New York

New York. Zaur Hasanov â€“APA. On April 24, a presentation titled "Caspian Gas at the Crossroads" was made at the Columbia University’s Center for Energy, APA US bureau reports. Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles Mr. Elin Suleymanov and Director of Advanced Foreign Service Program at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Mr. Fariz Ismailzade informed the faculty, students and researchers of the Columbia University about the contribution of Azerbaijan to the energy security in Europe, ongoing regional trade and energy projects, future potential of Nabucco, TransCaspian pipelines and SOCAR-Gazprom partnership as well as Azerbaijan’s continued commitment to the multiplicity of pipelines in the region. Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the frame of regional energy projects was also the focus of the discussion. Presentation was moderated by Dr. Albert Bressand, Director of the Center and Professor at the Columbia University.
