The Ambassador noted that the normalization of the relations would contribute to the peace in the region and said it would be efficient for the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process as well.
“Citing Ms. Clinton’s recent speech in the Congress, I can say that we support the present process toward the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,†she said.
The diplomat said the recent visit of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to Azerbaijan would be important.
“The process of settlement continues within the framework of the Minsk Group. The Group’s activity has been intensified. The visits of the co-chairs to Azerbaijan show that they are resolute to find the way of solution to the conflict,†he said.
