Hillary Clinton: US has assured Azerbaijan to intensify efforts to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict

The Secretary of State said official Washington assured Azerbaijani government to intensify efforts to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
â€œAs you know, we are closely dealing with the conflict within the framework of Minsk Group. I want to note that within the past three weeks we have twice sent the official of the Department of State to Azerbaijan. We hope that we will achieve any solution in the forthcoming months,â€ she said.

Touching on the improvement of Turkey-Armenia relations, the Secretary of State expressed her hope that the borders closed in 1993 would be reopened. Hillary Clinton said this step might accelerate the two countriesâ€™ coming closer in relation to the tragic history.
â€œTurkish and Armenian governments wanted the support and promotion of the United States. Following this, both President and I fully supported them,â€ she said.
