Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Speaker of Milli Mejlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Ogtay Asadov met with Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamidi Zareh. Asadov thanked the ambassador, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, for his contribution to the development of relations between the two countries. The speaker said the development of comprehensive relationship between Azerbaijan and Iran was one of the country’s foreign policy priorities.
Ambassador Nasir Hamidi Zareh said he would continue to contribute to the development of bilateral relations wherever he works.
On Wednesday, Ogtay Asadov met with the newly-appointed ambassador of Russian Federation to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin.
