Share of Azerbaijan's total public debt in GDP decreased

As of January 1 of this year, Azerbaijan’s foreign government debt made up USD 8 135,7 mln. (AZN 13 830,7 mln.) or 14,9% of GDP, APA-Economics reports citing Ministry of Finance.

Foreign public debt decreased by USD 685,8 mln. or 5,8 percentage points of GDP in comparison to the same period of the previous year.

As of January 1, the country’s domestic public debt made up AZN 3 068,4 mln. or 3,3% of GDP, increased by AZN 1 126,1 mln. or 0,6 percentage point of GDP in annual comparison.
