Positive balance of foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan increases sharply

In January of this year, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan was USD 4,062 bln., which is 68,4% up in annual comparison, APA-Economics" reports citing the State Customs Committee.

In January of 2022, export made up USD 3,087 bln., while import was USD 974,865 mln. Azerbaijan's export increased by 90,1%, while imports by 23,8% in annual comparison.

As a result, during the reporting period, the positive balance amounted to USD 2,112 mln. formed, which is 2,5 times more in comparison to January of the previous year.
