Azerbaijan's positive trade balance with EU increased by two times

In January this year, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with the European Union (EU) amounted to 2.166 billion. USD, which is 84.8% more than in the same period of 2021, APA-Economics reports citing the indicators published by the State Customs Committee.

The volume of exports increased by 2 times during the reporting period and amounted to $2.024 billion manats, while the volume of imports decreased by 21.1% and made %142.340 mln.

As a result, in January $ 1.881 billion, a positive trade balance appeared, which is 2021 times more than in the same period of 2.3 times.
