Azerbaijan’s positive foreign trade balance increased by more than 3 times last year

Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover made up USD 33,912 bln. last year, which is 38,6% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

Export made up USD 22,207 bln. in 2021, while import was USD 11,706 bln. Azerbaijan’s export increased by 61,6%, while import by 9,1% in annual comparison.

As a result, in 2021, there was a positive balance that amounted to USD 10,501 bln. which is 3,5 times more in annual comparison.
