Azerbaijan's positive balance of trade turnover with Turkey increases more than 4 times

During January of the current year, the volume of the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey amounted to USD 444,672 mln. and this is 70,3% more in annual comparison, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report of the State Customs Committee.

Exports from Azerbaijan to Turkey increased by 98,1% in annual comparison and amounted to USD 290,893 mln. in January of the current year, while the imports increased by 34.5% and amounted to USD 153,779 mln.

As a result, positive balance in the amount of USD 137,114 mln. formed and this is 4.2 times more compared to the same period of the previous year.
