Azerbaijan's export to Russia sharply increased last year

The volume of Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Russia made up USD 2,995 bln. last year which is 12,1% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing the report of State Customs Committee.

The country's export to Russia increased by 29,8% and made up USD 920,820 mln. in 2021, while import increased by 5,7% and made up USD 2,074 bln.

As a result, there was negative balance amounted USD 1,153 bln. in the trade turnover of Azerbaijan with Russia which is 7,9% less in comparison to 2020.
