Azerbaijan attracts up to 300 million AZN foreign investment in January

In January this year, 296.1 million AZN was invested in Azerbaijan's economy, APA-Economics reports citing Azerbaijan Statistics Committee.

According to the information, this amount decreased by 14.5% compared to January last year. Foreign investment accounted for 45% of funds directed to the fixed capital.

Notably, 292.3 mln. manats of funds directed to the fixed capital. (98.7%) belonged to investors from the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, Malaysia, India, Russia, and Iran.
