On-floor currency market triples in Azerbaijan last week

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The on-floor currency market turnover totaled $31.785 from Dec. 8 to 12, up 2.8 times on a weak earlier. Daily turnover was as follows (market was closed due to Gurban Holiday):

The exchange rate of the US dollar changed in the range of 0.8062-0.8061 AZN/USD over the week and the dollar declined 0.1% against the manat.
The official rate of the US dollar decreased by 0.15%, â€œwe buyâ€ rate 0.16% and â€œwe sellâ€ rate by 0.21%:

As shown in the diagram, the dollar fell against the manat last week. The US dollar also dropped against the euro on the international markets.
The euro rose remarkably last week.

The 15-nation currency rose 3.1% against the dollar mostly because of its gains on world markets.
