Money circulation rate is very high in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. As at October 1, the rate of money circulation is 5.5 in Azerbaijan, said the National Bank of Azerbaijan.
As of October 1, GDP amounted to AZN 30 370 million and the money supply reached AZN 5 515 million.
The rate of money circulation is measured by GDP-money supply ratio which is one of the major monetary and macroeconomic indicators.
The ratio rose by 0.6 point over the past year and fell by 0.6 points during 9 months.
The money circulation ratio reflects a countryâ€™s demand for the issued money and shows the amount of GDP created by a monetary unit.
This ratio is 1.2-1.8 in developed countries showing how many times money circulated and came back to the bank.
