Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani President’s recent decree to raise the minimum wage in the country will be applicable to more than 600 000 people employed in the public and private sectors, said Samir Sharifov, the Minister of Finance.
“Besides, basic part of labor pensions also increased. The president also raised wages for specific areas of the economy. Funds to finance the raise were earmarked during rhe state budget readjustment,†he added.
Azerbaijani President signed an order to increase the minimum wage by 25% to AZN 75.
