Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s International Insurance Company intends to raise its share capital by 36.36% to AZN 12 million next year.
Elshad Aliyev, marketing officer of the company, said the capitalization will be financed by existing shareholders.
At present the company’s authorized fund is AZN 8.8 million.
International Insurance Company, owned by International Bank of Azerbaijan, has been in operation since 2002.
The company earned AZN 9.35 million in premiums, paid AZN 1 million for insurance claims during January-June this year.
The company provides 29 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance service
