YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan gets 33% rise in Q1 assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2012, YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijanâ€™s assets stood at AZN 220.763 mln, up 33% from year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 49% to AZN 118.669 mln, deposit portfolio extended 96% to AZN 97.057 mln, total capital soared 15% to AZN 58.324 mln, as well authorized capital surged 21% to AZN 38.110 mln.

Number of clients doubled to 41,495, including individuals increased by 2.2 times to 39,493, legal entities â€“ by 6.2% to AZN 2,002.

Along with this, number of active plastic cards increased by 23% to 6,931, as well debit cards â€“ by 40% to 4,899, credit cards decreased by 4.95 to 2,032. At the same time, the staffs soared 25% to 211, average monthly salary surged 1.2% to AZN 2,510.

Remind that, YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan has been in operation since 2000. The bank operates 10 branches, 21 ATMs and 151 POS-terminals.
