AXA-Mbask increases revenues by 46% year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-March, 2012, the volume of insurance premiums collected by AXA-Mbask made AZN 3.842 mln, up 46% compared to last year.

The most premiums were collected on â€œMotor vehicle insuranceâ€ (AZN 1.454 mln), â€œProperty insurance from fire and other risksâ€ (AZN 277.643 thousand), â€œCargo insuranceâ€ (AZN 157.077 thousand) and â€œHealth insuranceâ€ (AZN 96.245 thousand).

Share of these types of insurance in total revenues made 38%, 7.2%, 4.1% and 2.5%, respectively.

As to the payments, the companyâ€™s payments on insurance risks during the past year rose 2 times up to AZN 1.276 mln.

The most payments were realized on â€œMotor vehicle insuranceâ€ (AZN 982.484 thousand), â€œHealth insuranceâ€ (AZN 113.760 thousand), â€œInsurance of air transportâ€ (AZN 84.052 thousand).

AXA-MBask started to operate in 1992 as MBask. As of April, 2012, the companyâ€™s authorized capital made AZN 6.731 mln. The company serves on 29 types of insurance.
