Inflation drops 3.1% in Azerbaijan l

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-ECONOMICS. Consumer prices and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan rose 0.3% in March, 2012. Besides, foodstuffs prices rose 0.7%, non-fod products dropped 0.1% and service tariffs remained unchanged at 0.1% during the same period.

State Statistical Committee says consumer prices and tariffs for services increased by 3.1%, as well food products soared 3.9%, non-food products surged 1.3% and service tariffs grew 2.5% during first quarter.

Inflation in January-February made 3.7% in Azerbaijan. As it seems, inflation weakened 0.6 [percentage points in January-March.
