Next meeting of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission to take place in May, in Kyiv

Baku. AnakhanÄ±m Hidoyatova - APA-Economics. Ukraine and Azerbaijan have agreed to hold a regular meeting of the Joint intergovernmental Ukrainian-Azerbaijani commission for economic co-operation in May of this year in Kiev. This was agreed during the official visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting with the Head of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan A. Asadov Mykola Azarov stressed that Ukraine and Azerbaijan established good political relations, which are particularly marked by increasing dynamics of contacts at the highest level. Prime Minister of Ukraine said that during his official visit very warm meetings with leaders of Azerbaijan - President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade were held.

At the meeting with the Head of Milli Majlis Mykola Azarov invited to Ukraine observers from Azerbaijan to the next parliamentary elections.

At the same time the Prime Minister noted the increasing role and authority of Azerbaijan in the world.

The Prime Minister also welcomed the holding of business forum, which was attended by over one hundred companies from Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
