Exchange rate of dollar rises in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The exchange rate of national currency on tool USD/AZN_TOD on BICEX has decreased on 0, 05% in March, 2012.

BICEX says, the exchange rate of USD rose from AZN 0.7853 to AZN 0.7857, during the accounting month. Consequently, the average exchange rate of national currency against dollar made AZN 0.7858 in March, while it was AZN 0.7859 in February.

In total the 13 banks have taken part in the trades of currency section of the BBVB in August, 2010. In accounting month in â€œBourse E-System of Tradesâ€ (BEST) 32 trading sessions are conducted and 35 transactions are registered. The total volume of trades of currency section in accounting month on USD/AZN has made 83.810 million manats, down 2.3 times from February.
