International Insurance Company marks 10-year anniversary

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. Today OJSC â€œInternational Insurance Companyâ€ (IIC) is marking its 10-year anniversary.

IIC reports that the company was established by International Bank of Azerbaijan in 2002 and is one of the countryâ€™s leading insurance companies. Following marketing research conducted by GfK TÃ¼rkiye company on the order of State Insurance Supervision Service under Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan " International Insurance Company" is the most famous insurance brand of Azerbaijan.

Following 2011 IICâ€™s premiums made AZN 12.4 million with payments for AZN 5.7 million and it became the countryâ€™s fifth insurer on its premiums and third on payments.

IICâ€™s activity was evaluated by awarding it with number of national and international premiums, such as UÄŸur, Azeri Business Award, " Progress " Premium of Azerbaijani-Russian Business Cooperation Council. In 2009 IIC received B2 rating with stable forecast from Moddyâ€™s Investors Service and in 2011 became a strategic partner of Reinsurers Forum in Baden-Baden and general sponsor of Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum.

On the occasion of jubilee IICâ€™s Director Board Chairman Jamil Sultanov said " We have had a number of achievements during all period of our activity. But as products in insurance sphere are non-material , peopleâ€™s confidence is our best success. To date , we have insured over 980 real estate facilities, 6.500 vehicles and over 8.000 of company, enterprise, embassy and state bodiesâ€™ employees. Our main achievement is the name we gained in 10 years of activity. In this connection I firstly want to thank International Bank of Azerbaijan and our clients, of course as their role is irreplaceable in our success".
