Azerbaijan repaid $ 37 million debt to IDB so far

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Since Azerbaijan’s cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank till January 1, 2012, 17 loan agreements amounted to 726.9 million dollars were signed on 15 projects. APA reports that it was stated in the report of the Cabinet of Ministers on activity of Azerbaijani Government in 2011.

The report says that the implementation of 10 projects was completed, five projects - ongoing.

â€œThe amount disbursed under signed loan agreements with the IDB until January 1, 2012 amounted to 501 million dollars, which equals 68.9% of the total amount allocated by the bank. a loan of 240.6 million dollars has been used within the past yearâ€, says the report.

The total size of the main debt repaid to IDB until January 1, 2012, totaled 37.1 million dollars.

Note that, the current loan portfolio of the Bank on Azerbaijan makes 1.2 billion dollars.

Remind that, Azerbaijan is a member of IDB since 1992.
