AZN 9.4 mln loan given via AMF in May

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. In May, AZN 9.4 mln mortgage loan was given to the population on the account of state funds, AMF told APA. Totally, AZN 35.8 mln mortgage loan was given to the population in 5 months of 2011.

Thus, the mortgage lending has reached AZN 285.7 mln since it started in 2006. Consequently, as of June 1, per head mortgage loan reached AZN 31. For comparison note that, this number was AZN 27.2 as at early 2011, AZN 30 in May.

Refinancing of mortgage loan increased in May, sharply. AZN 7.7 mln-loan was refinanced by AMF, in May, up 30.5% from April. In January-May, AZN 28.8 mln-mortgage loan was refinanced. Totally, AZN 204.8 mln or 71.8% of mortgage loan was refinanced. AZN 4.6 mln funds were allocated by state budget to AMF.

At the same time, AMF has issued AZN 16 mln-bonds. In January-May, volume of Fundâ€™s bonds reached AZN 38 mln.

IN general, AZN 60 mln-bonds are planned to be issued, this year. State funds for mortgage purposes will be AZN 14 mln.
