Baku. Ali Ahmadov– APA-Economics. In January-April, 2011, 81.55% or $ 8,742.863 mln of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover was contributed with the far foreign countries. According to State Customs Committee, trade turnover rose 79.36% in comparison to a year ago.
The export made $ 6,859.305 mln, import - $ 1,883558 mln, up 2.14 times and 50.07% compared to a year ago.
Most of growth in trade operations was observed with CIS countries. Thus, $ 1,978.536 mln of trade turnover was contributed with CIS Countries. The trade operations with CIS countries rose 2.22 times compared to a year ago.
Export to these countries made $ 1,145.151 mln, import - $ 833.385 mln, up 3.48 times and 48.27% from year earlier.
