Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s import-export operations with foreign countries during January-April, totalled $10,721.399 million, including exports of $8,004.457 million and imports of $2,716.943 million, said the State Statistical Committee.
According to Committee, the trade turnover increased by 35.84%, including import rose 54.12%, export – 30.69%, compared to a year ago.
In January-April, 4,178 persons engaged in foreign economic activity. 1,683 of them were individuals, 2,495 – legal entities. 194 of legal entities are state, 2,301 – non-state legal entities.
According to Committee, 95.72% of exports were conducted by state sector, 4.03% - by private sector and 0.25% - by individuals.
56.34% of imports were conducted by state sector, 38.95% - by private sector and 4.71% - by individuals.
