Azerbaijanâ€™s Accounting Chamber welcomes amendments in state budget

Baku. Ali Ahmadov â€“ APA-Economics. Draft amendments in Azerbaijanâ€™s state budget for 2011 and State Social Protection Fundâ€™s budget was discussed at board meeting of the Accounting Chamber.

According to analysis of information on main macroeconomic indicators, budget incomes and expenses of 2011, factors necessitating reconsideration of parameters bty the chamber were analyzed. As a result of these analyses, it was considered reasonable to increase incomes and expenses of both consolidated budget and state budget.

The opinion related to amendments in State Social Protection Fund says the measures considered on the project serve decrease of poverty in Azerbaijan, achieving strategic purposes and targets of the state program on development of insurance pension system in the country, at the same time, fulfillment of functions determined by the law on labor pensions.

The opinions were confirmed at the board meeting and the decision was passed in connection with submitting draft laws to the parliament.
