Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The 44 deals were closed on 42 trade sessions on the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX), in April, 2011. As a whole, 13 bank organizations have taken part in these operations.
BICEX said that, the volume of operations on currency was AZN 124.408 or $157.342, up 27% compared with March, 3.2 times in comparison to a year ago.
The average daily turnover on BEST (Bourse E-system of Trades) reached to $ 7.492 mln, while average volume of per deal was $ 3.576 mln.
Five banks- International Bank of Azerbaijan (37.50%), Azerbaijan Industry Bank (13.75%), AGBank (5.07%), Unibank (3.52%) and Bank Respublika (1.59%) came ahead for the amount of deals in April.
